Wenzao Ursuline College of Languages welcomes applications from qualified students from around the world. We are the only college in southern Taiwan that teaches foreign languages using the target language as the language of instruction. We offer undergraduate and students in junior college programs in a wide range of subject areas. Wenzao Ursuline College of Languages has bilateral agreements with a number of universities abroad. International students are also eligible to enroll in degree studies/programs at Wenzao Ursuline College of Languages after following the appropriate application procedures. A limited number of scholarships are offered.
I. Admissions to Wenzao & Application Forms
1.Applying for Degree Programs
International students are eligible for degree programs in the Day Division that offers master, bachelor and associate degrees. Candidates’ diploma and related qualification certificates should be verified by Taiwan’s overseas representative offices or authorized agencies for admission application.
(1)Application Requirements:
(a) Graduate Institute Program:
Applicants should be graduates of public, private or foreign universities, colleges or equivalent.
(b) Four-Year College Program:
Applicants should be graduates of public, private or foreign vocational high school, high school or equivalent.
(c) Two-Year College Program:
Applicants should be graduates of public, private or foreign junior colleges or equivalent.
(d) Five-Year Junior College Program:
Applicants should be graduates of public, private or foreign junior high schools or equivalent.

2.Enrolling for the International Exchange Student Program
This program is available only for international students from schools which have signed academic cooperation agreement or MOU with Wenzao. Please check out the website (http://c015.wtuc.edu.tw/front/bin/cglist.phtml?Category=15 ) to make sure if your school is on the list.
(1) Application Requirements:
Application must be submitted by international office or designated department of home universities. Once the application is accepted by Wenzao, an admission letter will be posted to the students to proceed with visa application. Applicants must meet the requirements of visa and health check set by R.O.C. Oversea Consular Offices.
Exchange students may select any course at Wenzao once they fulfill the prerequisites and have the permission of the professors. Proper Chinese Language courses will be arranged for exchange students if they need to enhance their Chinese language ability, however, an additional must be filled out to apply for this language training. Please consult your department regarding your selection of courses. Fill in the appropriate information on your course registration form, have the form signed by the chairperson of your department, and hand it in to the Curriculum Section in the Office of Academic Affairs.

II. Financial Aid & Scholarships
Wenzao provides foreign students with a number of scholarships. Currently, twenty percent of all the foreign students receive some kind of financial assistance. Foreign students who receive scholarships get free tuition and room in the dormitory which amounts to about US$3,754 per academic year. Students who display outstanding achievement may also receive scholarships for their academic performance. Other kinds of financial aid are available upon request. Opportunities for part-time employment on campus are also offered to foreign students.
